[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 3월 10일부터 오는 18일까지 북부지방산림청은 중대재해처벌법 시행에 따라 안전분야 관리 강화를 위하여 숲가꾸기 사업장 특별 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

북부지방산림청은 숲가꾸기 사업장 내 유해·위험요인 확인 및 개선 업무 절차, 안전보건관리체계 이행 여부를 점검하는 등 근로자 안전 확보 및 숲가꾸기사업장 안전사고 예방을 위해 노력하고 있다고 했다.

근로자 안전사고 예방을 위하여 지난 3월 11일부터 오는 3월 23일까지 북부지방산림청 소속 6개 국유림관리소 내 국유림영림단 전원을 대상으로 산림조합중앙회 임업기계훈련원 위탁 현장 안전교육을 실시한다고 전했다.

교육내용은 산림사업장 안전관리·예방, 안전사고 위험이 높은 벌도작업 시 안전교육 등으로 근로자에게 안전사고에 대한 경각심을 고취하고 안전사고 예방·조치를 위한 기본교육을 실시하여 근로자 안전관리를 강화하고자 한다고 했다.

북부지방산림청 최수천 청장은 “숲가꾸기 사업장 위험요인을 발굴·개선하여 안전사고를 예방하고 근로자 안전 확보를 위해 지속적인 안전점검을 실시하는 등 무재해 사업 추진을 위해 사업장 관리에 만전을 기할 것”이라고 밝혔다.
