천하당은 자금동주민센터뿐만 아니라 고아원, 양로원과 같은 다양한 곳의 취약계층을 위해 매년 지원을 아끼지 않아 지역사회에 귀감이 되고 있고, 이번에 기부된 쌀 10포는 경기사회복지공동모금회를 거쳐 자금동에 거주하는 취약계층에게 전달될 예정이라고 했다.

신민경 무속인은 “기부 활동에 참여하는 것은 마음을 따뜻하게 한다”며 “어려운 이웃에게도 이런 따뜻함이 전달됐으면 좋겠다”고 기부 소감을 말했다.

조원상 자금동장은 “새해를 맞이해 자금동에 지속적인 후원이 이어지고 있다”며 “코로나19의 장기화로 취약계층의 어려움이 가중되고 있는 가운데 따뜻한 기부로 함께 해주셔서 감사드린다”고 밝혔다.
