[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 12일 의정부시 자금동은 자금동 청소년지도협의회가 직접 담근 피클 50통을 기탁했다고 밝혔다. 

이날 행사에 안지찬 의정부시의원도 참석했으며, 기탁된 물품은 관내 독거 어르신들에게 전달할 예정이라고 전했다. 

청소년지도협의회는 지난 10월 5일 레몬청 50통을 자금동 주민센터에 기탁한 바가 있으며, 기부 활동 이외에도 청소년 유해환경 단속에도 적극적으로 동참하여 민관협력의 모범을 보이고 있다고 했다.

조경화 자금동청소년지도협의회 회장은 “관내 독거노인 어르신들에게 전달되는 이 물품들을 통해 소소하지만, 혼자가 아니라는 느낌을 받았으면 좋겠다”라고 밝혔다.

정호진 자금동장은 “코로나19의 어려움이 가중되는 상황에서 이웃을 살피기가 쉬운 일이 아닌 것을 잘 알고 있다”며, “이렇게 손수 봉사 및 도움의 손길에 참여해주신 청소년지도협의회 회원들에게 깊은 감사를 드리며, 자금동 주민센터도 이웃돕기 분위기 조성에 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
