[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 17일 의정부시 가능동바르게살기위원회는 가능동주민센터 범시민 이웃사랑 나눔 운동 100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동창구에 성금 20만 원을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.

가능동바르게살기위원회는 의정부의 소외된 주민들을 위해 매년 사랑릴레이에 동참해왔으며, 올해도 가능동주민센터에 성금을 전달해 어려운 이웃을 위해 조금이나마 도움을 주고자 온정을 나눴다고 했다.

홍승의 가능동장은 “오늘 주신 성금은 경기사회복지공동모금회를 통해 접수되어 가능동의 저소득계층에 배분될 예정이다. 주민자치위원회의 뜻을 소중히 전달해 그간 소외되었던 주민들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 하겠다”고 전했다.

100일간 사랑릴레이 배턴 잇기 운동은 지난 10월 21일부터 내년 1월 28일까지 진행되며, 기부하고 싶은 후원자들은 가능동주민센터로 문의 및 신청하면 된다고 밝혔다.
