[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 10월 13일 의정부시 의정부1동 바르게살기위원회는 의정부3동주민센터(구)를 찾아 건물 및 주변 거리 등 대청소를 실시하여 살기 좋은 의정부시 만들기에 나섰다고 밝혔다.

바르게살기위원회 회원 10여 명은 의정부3동주민센터(구) 주변 경의로 일대 및 주요 도로변과 쓰레기 취약지역을 돌며 대청소를 실시했고, 코로나19로 인해 마스크를 쓰는 상황에서도 회원들은 자기 집처럼 구슬땀을 흘리며 청소를 진행했다고 전했다.

이중희 위원장은 “아직 더위가 가시지 않은 궂은 날씨에도 대청소에 적극 참여해준 회원들과 직원들께 감사드린다”고 밝혔다.

정준모 의정부1동장은 “깨끗한 의정부를 만들기 위해 매사 노력해주시는 바르게살기위원회 덕분에 마음까지 정화된 것 같아 기분이 좋다. 앞으로도 지역 발전과 주민화합을 위해 힘써주시길 부탁드린다”고 밝혔다.
