[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 26일 의정부시는 의정부영상미디어센터에서 여성친화도시 서포터즈 제6기 여의주 회원 30여 명을 대상으로 2021년 여의주 워크숍을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

단계적 일상회복기를 맞아 올해 첫 대면으로 진행된 이번 워크숍은 영화로 만나는 성인지 감수성을 주제로 원은정 한국청소년센터 대표의 특강으로 진행했고, 애니메이션과 영화를 통해 성인지 감수성을 배양하고, 일상생활에 적용시키는 사례들을 중심으로 향후 여의주가 나갈 방향에 관해 토의하는 시간을 가졌다고 했다.

올해 7월부터 새롭게 활동하고 있는 제6기 여의주는 이번 특강을 통해 성인지 모니터링을 보다 쉽게 이해하고, 사례와 함께 토의하며 성차별적 요소를 발견할 수 있는 관점 변화의 기회를 마련했다고 전했다.

양숙경 여의주 대표는 “오늘 워크숍을 통해 여성친화도시 속 여의주의 역할을 보다 정확히 인지할 수 있는 시간이 됐으며, 한 단계 성장하는 계기가 됐다”고 말했다.

류윤미 여성가족과장은 “의정부시 여성친화도시 조성에 중요한 역할을 수행하는 여의주 회원님들께 감사드리며, 이번 워크숍을 통해 시민들의 생활에 밀접하고 다양한 성인지 정책을 제안해주기를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
