[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일과 18일 이틀 동안, 동두천시는 공무원 및 동두천시 성별영향평가위원 등 100명을 대상으로 '2021년 성별영향평가 일반과정 교육'을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

교육진행방법은 지난 17일 1일차 50명 대상으로 대면 교육을 실시하였고, 2일차 18일에는 온라인으로 50명이 교육에 참여했으며, 이번 교육은 생물학적인 양성평등 관점에서 더 한층 상향된 내용으로 인종, 언어, 장애인과 비장애인 등 다양한 관점에서 수혜자를 성찰 하는 성인지 감수성을 높이는 내용으로 실시되었다고 했다.

하루 총 4시간으로 구성 된 교육은 '한국다양성연구소'의 황혜정 강사가 '디지털 시대 차별과 폭력' 이라는 주제로, 성적 고정관념에서 벗어나 차별과 갈등을 극복하는 부분을 강조하였고, '가족구성권연구소'김소형 강사는 '변화하는 남성성과 문화이해'라는 내용으로 세대별로 변화하는 한국사회 남성들의 남성성과 문화의 다양성을 이해하며 인식개선 필요성을 강조했다고 했다.

시 관계자는 “그동안 성별영향평가 교육은 사업 담당자를 대상으로 컨설팅 및 교육 등을 실시하였으나, 급속도로 변화하는 다양한 사회 문화에 맞춰 공무원들의 성인지 감수성도 변화에 맞출 필요성을 느꼈으며, 이러한 인식 개선 교육이 앞으로 시민들이 만족하는 행정을 할 수 있도록 마중물이 되길 기대한다.”고 전했다.
