[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부영상미디어센터가 ‘심리치유사와 함께하는 청년만세 힐링시네마’를 연다고 밝혔다. 

오는 11월 13일 토요일 14:00부터 18:00까지 진행되는 이번 힐링시네마는 Vimeo, Zoom 등 온라인 플랫폼을 통해 비대면으로 진행되며, 영화 <버티고>를 관람한 후 심리치유사의 강연이 이어진다고 했다.

의정부영상미디어센터는 이번 힐링시네마의 연사로 예술심리치유 전문가인 소희정 마음과공간 예술심리연구소 대표를 초빙했으며, 연사는 영화 관람 후 시민이 스스로의 삶을 돌아보고 다독일 수 있도록 강연을 진행할 예정이라고 했다. 

의정부영상미디어센터는 삶의 무게로 지쳐 있을 시민들에게 예술로써 위로와 응원을 전하고자 이번 프로그램을 기획하게 됐으며, 특히 극심한 우울을 겪고 있는 청년층의 마음을 보듬기 위해 영화<버티고>를 선정했다고 전했다. 

<버티고>는 불안정한 계약직 생활, 비밀 사내 연애 중인 연인과의 관계에 지친 30대 직장인 ‘서영’과 그녀의 앞에 나타난 남자 ‘관우’를 통해 청년의 불안과 위로를 그린 영화로, 전계수 감독이 연출하고 천우희(서영), 유태오(진수), 정재광(관우) 등이 출연했다고 했다. 

이번 힐링시네마를 통해 코로나19 바이러스로 침체된 문화 향유를 활성화하고, 시민의 심리를 치유할 수 있는 계기를 마련할 것으로 기대된다고 했다.

이번 힐링시네마는 참가비 없이 무료로 진행되며, 선착순 80명을 접수 마감한다. 참가신청은 센터홈페이지에 공개되는 링크를 통해 신청서를 작성·제출하면 된다고 전했다.    

이번 힐링시네마를 기획한 의정부영상미디어센터 윤기채 사원은 “코로나19로 하루하루를 힘겹게 버티고 계신 시민들이 많다.”며 “이번 힐링시네마를 통해 작게나마 시민들에게 위로와 응원을 전할 수 있도록 최선을 다 하겠다.”라고 밝혔다. 

한편, 의정부영상미디어센터는 의정부 시민의 영상 활용 능력을 높이고 시민 간의 소통과 지역사회의 원활한 교류를 목적으로 하는 공공미디어 서비스 시설로, 신한대학교 산학협력단이 위탁받아 운영 중이라고 밝혔다.
