[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 5월 7일 금요일 의정부영상미디어센터가 영화 소개 팟캐스트 ‘쏙! 무비’를 선보인다고 밝혔다. 

‘쏙! 무비’는 의정부영상미디어센터의 시민 활동가가 직접 제작한 콘텐츠로 매월 첫째 주 금요일, 의정부영상미디어센터 유튜브 의정부영상미디어센터 유튜브 채널과  네이버TV 의정부영상미디어센터 네이버TV 채널, 팟빵 채널 의정부영상미디어센터 팟빵 쏙!무비 채널에서 공개된다고 했다.   

오는 5월 7일 첫 방송에서는 <뺏고 싶다 너의 능력, 악당아 능력 다오>를 주제로 이야기가 펼쳐지며, 이번 방송을 제작한 성재혁, 김진선 시민활동가가 직접 호스트로 출연하여 <아메리칸 싸이코>, <위플래쉬>, <부산행> 등의 영화 속 악당의 능력을 소개 한다고 했다.  

‘쏙! 무비’는 영화 속 재밌는 이야기를 귀에 쏙쏙 넣어 준다는 의미로, 코로나 바이러스로 침체된 영화 산업을 진흥하고자 의정부영상미디어센터와 시민 활동가들이 함께 기획하게 됐다고 했다. 

‘쏙! 무비’를 기획한 5인의 시민 활동가 '이유경, 성재혁, 곽소영, 김진선, 윤지현'은 의정부영상미디어센터의 시민 영화 프로그래머 교육 수강을 계기로 모여, ‘영사기’라는 이름으로 동아리를 운영하고 있고, 현재 ‘영사기’는 영화 소개 카드뉴스 제작, 야외 상영회 프로그램 기획 등 코로나 상황으로 인한 제약 속에서도 비대면으로 왕성히 활동 중이라고 했다.   

동아리 ‘영사기’의 이유경 대표는 “코로나 사태로 시민들의 문화 활동 영역이 급격히 좁아지고 문화의 향유가 침체되고 있는 듯하다.”며 “‘쏙! 무비’가 비대면으로나마 함께 영화를 즐기고 이야기 나눌 수 있는 계기가 되었으면 한다.”고 밝혔다. 

한편, 의정부영상미디어센터는 의정부 시민의 영상 활용 능력을 높이고 시민 간의 소통과 지역사회의 원활한 교류를 목적으로 하는 공공미디어 서비스 시설로, 신한대학교 산학협력단이 위탁받아 운영 중이라고 했다.
