[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 의정부영상미디어센터가 시민의 문화예술 향유권 신장과 지역사회 예술 진흥을 위해 ‘우리 동네 예술인 프로필 영상’을 선보인다고 밝혔다.

오는 4월 2일부터 첫 번째 시리즈 국악인 편으로, 매주 금요일 의정부영상미디어센터 유튜브 채널에서 총 10명의 국악인 영상프로필이 하나씩 공개될 예정이라고 말했다.
   

이번 ‘우리 동네 예술인’ 국악인 편에서는 경기검무 무형문화재 임영랑 예술인, 타악 그룹 '붐붐'의 박상경, 김효원 예술인, '대금돌이'로 활동 중인 김진석 예술인 등  다양한 전통 음악가를 소개할 예정이며, 뿐만 아니라 국악을 연주하는 전자바이올리니스트 도은혜 예술인, 우리의 소리를 전하는 기타리스트 기정준 예술인 등 혼합 장르 예술인 또한 함께 소개할 예정이라 했다.  

의정부영상미디어센터는 우리 사회의 예술인을 영상미디어로 소개함으로써 예술을 진흥하고 시민들에게 즐길거리를 제공하고자 ‘우리 동네 예술인 프로필 영상’을 기획했으며, 국악인 외에도 향후 방송예술인, 문인, 미술인 등 다양한 문화예술인을 소개할 예정이라 말했다. 

또한 의정부영상미디어센터는 ‘지역 문화예술인 발굴 프로젝트’를 주요 사업으로 삼아, '우리 동네 예술인 프로필 영상', '문화예술인 팟캐스트 방송', '찾아가는 버스킹' 공연 등 영상미디어를 통한 다채로운 예술 진흥 활동을 펼칠 예정이라고 했다.
