[김현우 기자 = 경기북부] 오는 27일까지 양주시는 여성들의 역량강화와 사회 참여의 기회를 제공하기 위해 여성동아리를 발굴·지원하는 ‘여성친화 평생학습 동아리 지원 사업’을 공모한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 사업은 학습공동체 활성화를 도모하고 여성 친화적 문화 확산을 위해 지역 내 숨겨진 역량 있는 여성 소모임을 발굴·지원해 지역사회 통합과 여성의 활동 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련했다고 전했다. 

양주시는 동아리의 역량 향상과 재능기부 활성화를 위해 심화학습 분야와 재능나눔 분야로 구분해 모집하며 최종 선정된 학습동아리에는 최대 100만원까지 지원한다고 했다.

신청 자격은 양주시 평생학습관 홈페이지에 등록된 동아리 중 양주시에서 활동하는 10인 이상, 구성원의 60%가 양주시민으로 구성된 학습동아리고, 보조금 지원 사업을 희망하는 학습동아리는 사업신청서를 작성해 이메일로 접수하면 된다고 했다. 

양주시 관계자는 “여성친화도시 위상에 발맞춰 선정된 동아리가 지역 내 여성 권익 증진과 양성평등 실현을 위해 다양한 분야에서 활동할 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
