[장선희 기자 = 경기북부] 지난달 30일 동두천시는 시청 상황실에서 “동두천시 성별영향평가위원회”를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
 

이날 위원회는 성별영향평가와 관련된 전문가와 경험이 풍부한 위원 10명에게 위촉장을 전달하고, 당연직 위원을 포함한 13명에게 “2021년 동두천시 성별영향평가 운영 계획”에 대해 설명했다고 전했다. 
 

성별영향평가 제도는 법령, 계획, 세출예산 사업 등 주요정책을 수립·시행하는 과정에서, 해당 정책이 성별에 미치는 영향과 성차별 발생원인 등을 체계적으로 분석·평가하여 정책개선에 반영함으로써, 양성평등 실현에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 한다고 했다.
 

시는 주요정책 사업이 양성평등으로 균형을 맞추기 위해서는 각 사업을 직접 담당하는 실무자가 성인지 감수성이 가지고, 성 차별적인 요소를 감지하고 도출해야하는 만큼, 공무원 대상 성인지 감수성 및 성별영향평가 교육을 강화해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

On this day, the committee delivered a letter of commission to 10 experts and experienced members related to gender impact assessment, and said that it explained to 13 members, including ex officio members, the “2021 Gender Impact Assessment Operation Plan for Dongducheon City”.
 

In the process of establishing and implementing major policies such as laws, plans, and expenditure budget projects, the gender impact assessment system systematically analyzes and evaluates the effects of the policies on gender and the causes of gender discrimination and reflects them in policy improvement. It was said that it was aimed at contributing to the realization of equality.
 

The city reinforces gender sensibility and gender impact assessment education for public officials as it is necessary to detect and derive gender-discriminatory factors by the practitioners in charge of each project in order to balance gender equality with major policy projects. He said he would do it.
