[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시는 여성친화도시 조성 사업의 일환으로 안전하고 밝은 거리 조성과 야간 범죄의 사전 예방을 위해 ‘로고젝터’ 를 추가 설치한다고 밝혔다.

‘로고젝터’ 는 렌즈에 홍보ㆍ안내ㆍ경고 등 다양한 문구와 이미지를 새겨 LED 조명을 이용해 벽이나 바닥에 투사하는 장치로 시각적 홍보 효과가 매우 뛰어나며, 보행자에게는 심리적 안정감을 주고 범죄 욕구를 미리 차단해 범죄예방 효과도 줄 수 있는 조명기구라고 했다.

속초시는 지난 2019년 ‘속초시 안심귀갓길 조성에 관한 조례’ 를 제정하여 지난 2년간 원룸 밀집 지역 및 어두운 골목길 등 관내 18개소에 로고 젝터를 설치했으며, 추가로 5개소를 오는 4월 말까지 설치할 계획이라고 했다.

대상지는 영랑동 2곳(블루오션펜션 인근 골목, 영랑동 포장마차거리 뒤편 골목), 청호동 2곳(이마트 뒤편 골목, 조양어린이집 앞 골목), 조양동 1곳(아이사랑어린이집 앞 골목)이며, 속초경찰서와 사전 협의 및 동주민센터와 속초시 여성친화도시 시민참여단의 의견을 반영하여 선정하였다고 했다.

앞으로도 속초시는 주요 관광지와 범죄 취약 지역을 중심으로 야간 안전환경 개선이 필요한 지역을 지속적으로 발굴하고, 지역 주민이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 안전환경 조성을 위해 노력할 계획이라고 전했다.

'Logojector' is a device that projects various phrases and images such as publicity, guidance, and warning on the lens and projects it on a wall or floor using LED lights. It is said that it is a lighting fixture that can give a crime prevention effect.

Sokcho City enacted the 'Ordinance on the Creation of Safe Home Street in Sokcho City' in 2019, and has installed logo projectors in 18 places in the building including studio areas and dark alleys over the past two years, and plans to install an additional 5 places by the end of April. did.

The target sites are 2 Yeongrang-dong (the alley near Blue Ocean Pension, the alley behind the food stalls in Yeongrang-dong), 2 Cheongho-dong (the alley behind E-Mart, the alley in front of the Joyang Daycare Center), and 1 Joyang-dong (the alley in front of the Children’s Love Daycare Center). It was said that the selection was made by reflecting the opinions of the Dong Community Center and Sokcho Women-Friendly City Citizen Participation Group.

In the future, Sokcho City plans to continuously discover areas in need of improvement of the nighttime safety environment, centering on major tourist destinations and crime-prone areas, and strive to create a safe environment where local residents can live with confidence.
