[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시 오는 10월 4일부터 11월 11일까지 6주간 매주 3박 4일간의 일정으로 수도권 기업 근로자 250명이 참여하는 「2022 삼척 워케이션 프로그램」을 운영한다.

숙박, 오피스, 레저(지역관광)가 결합한 ‘삼척 워케이션 프로그램’을 통해 참가자들은 관내 숙박업소를 이용하면서 공유 오피스에서 일을 하고 장호항(투명 카누 체험), 활기 치유의 숲, 맹방해변, 덕봉산 해안생태탐방로 등 다양한 관광체험을 하게 된다.

또한, 참가자들을 대상으로 삼척 향토음식 소개 및 시식, 관광 홍보물품 배부, 참가기업 및 참가자 간 네트워킹 이벤트, 사회공헌(ESG) 프로그램인 삼척 해변 정화 활동 등도 진행할 예정이다.

삼척시 관계자는 “앞으로도 기업 워케이션 유치를 위한 상시 운영 프로그램 개발, 차별화된 지역 콘텐츠 발굴, 워케이션 참가 기업 유치를 위한 강원도와의 공동 홍보․마케팅 등에 주력하여 주중․체류형 관광객 유치 및 지역 경제 활성화에 기여하기 위해 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
