[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 태백시는 추석을 맞아 지난 1일부터 오는 9월 6일까지 태백시 공식 온라인쇼핑몰 ‘강원태백몰’에서 추석맞이 할인 및 쿠폰 이벤트를 운영한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 코로나 19에 따른 경기침체로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역업체 경영난을 덜어주기 위해 마련됐다.

추석맞이 할인 이벤트 행사는 전 상품 1만원 이상 구매 시 40% 할인(최대 2만원 할인) 쿠폰을 선착순 100명에게 발급하며, 쿠폰은 8월(10, 17, 24, 31)일 매주 수요일 10시에 오픈된다.

시 관계자는 “이번 추석맞이 이벤트를 통해 지역 내 우수 상품 홍보는 물론이며 소비자들의 합리적인 소비에 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다”고 밝혔다.

한편, 강원태백몰은 태백지역 중소기업과 농가 제품의 판매 촉진을 위해 구축된 온라인 쇼핑몰로 태백 으뜸산품 등 45여개 업체가 입점해 180개 품목의 우수제품을 판매하고 있다.
