[김준호 기자=삼척시] 삼척시(박상수 시장)가 오는 2월 9일부터 3월 6일까지 ‘2023년 사업체조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이번, 사업체조사는 통계청이 주관하는 전수조사로 사업체의 지역별 분포 및 고용구조를 파악하여 각종 정책의 수립·평가, 기업 경영계획 수립, 학술연구, 각종 통계의 기초자료로 활용하고자 전국적으로 추진되는 전수 통계조사이다.

시는 조사에 앞서 사업체 조사요원들의 업무이해도를 높이고 정확한 조사를 위해 사업체 조사요원 19명을 대상으로 조사지침 및 사례교육과 안전교육을 실시했다.

이번 조사대상은 조사기준일(2022년 12월 31일) 또는 현재 삼척시에서 산업활동을 수행하고 있는 모든 사업체로 일정한 장소에서 단일, 주된 경제활동을 독립적으로 수행하는 기업체들이 포함된다. 삼척시는 약 9,641개 업체가 해당되며 전년 대비 503개소가 증가했다.

조사는 오는 2월 9일부터 3월 6일까지 조사원이 사업체를 현장 방문하여 응답자와 면접을 통해 조사하는 것을 원칙으로 하며, 코로나19 비상 상황 대비 및 조사방법 다양화를 위해 전화·인터넷·배포조사도 병행한다. 

조사항목은 사업장 운영장소, 소재지, 사업의 종류, 종사자 수, 연간 매출액 등 10개 항목이다. 2023년도 조사에는 전년도와 달리 물리적 장소가 없는 1인 개인 사업체의 경우에도 현장에서 생멸여부만 파악하고 산업분류, 종사자 수는 행정자료로 대체될 예정이다.

조사결과는 2023년 9월에 잠정 공표되고, 2023년 12월에 확정 공표될 예정이다.

이명기 기획조정실장은 “조사결과가 각종 정책수립의 기초자료로 활용되는 만큼 정확한 통계작성을 위해 사업체의 적극적인 협조를 부탁드린다.”고 말했다.
