[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 강원도는 경기도, 문화재청과 함께 손 잡고 한반도 비무장지대(DMZ)실태조사에 따른 성과공개 사진 전시 순회전(전시명: 과거를 기억하고 미래를 희망한다.)을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

이번 전시회는 ‘강원도-경기도-문화재청’이 체결한 ‘비무장지대(DMZ) 유네스코 세계유산 남북공동등재를 위한 업무협약(2019. 7. 11.)’에 따라, DMZ실태조사단(강원도문화재연구소, 경기문화재단 경기문화재연구원, 국립문화재연구원)이 실시한 ‘한반도 비무장지대(DMZ) 실태조사(2020~2021년)’ 과정에서 촬영한 사진자료를 공개하는 자리이다. 

해당 전시에는 조사 결과물 중 사진 90여점을 전쟁유산, 문화유산, 자연유산 등으로 구분하여 일반국민에게 선보일 예정이며, 강원도문화재연구소가 전시회를 주최한다.

강원도는 이번 국내순회전을 계기로 한반도 비무장지대(DMZ)의 전쟁유산(갈등과 평화), 문화유산(역사와 문화), 자연유산(자연과 생태)에 대해 생각해보고 한반도 비무장지대의 세계유산적 가치에 대해 생각해보는 시간이 되었으면 좋겠다고 밝혔다.

강원도는 경기도, 문화재청과 함께 올해에 이어, 내년에도 한반도 비무장지대의 세계유산적 가치를 홍보하기 위한 사진전시회 등을 꾸준히 진행할 예정이다.
