[김현우 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 속초시는 관내 대부·대부중개업 업체를 대상으로‘2022년 상반기 대부업 실태조사’를 실시한다고 밝혔다. 

이번 실태조사는 오는 22일까지 진행되며「대부업 등의 등록 및 금융이용자 보호에 관한 법률」에 따라 속초시에 등록된 12개 업체를 대상으로, 대부(중개) 업체에서 지난 6월 30일 기준으로 작성한 실태조사보고서 점검결과를 행정안전부 및 금융위원회에 제출할 예정이다.

실태조사 세부내용은 개인사업자에 대해서는 대부(중개), 매입채권, 차입, 순자산 현황을, 법인사업자는 지점, 자산·부채, 대부현황 등을 조사하며 관련 보고서를 미제출하거나 허위 기재한 업체는 관련법에 따라 최소 200만 원에서 최대 2,000만 원의 과태료를 부과한다. 

속초시 관계자는“이번 실태조사를 통해 대부(중개)업에 대한 신뢰 및 건전성을 높이는 계기가 되었으면 좋겠다.”며“무자격 고금리 대출, 허위광고로 의한 시민 피해를 최소한으로 방지할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다.”라고 말했다.
