군은 개학기를 맞아 대면 수업이 이뤄짐에 따라 학교주변에 위치한 유해환경으로부터 청소년들을 보호하기 위해 점검과 계도활동을 실시하고, 이에 드림청소년팀장과 청소년지도사 등으로 전담반을 꾸려 학교주변과 유해업소 밀집지역 주변 노래방, 유흥업소, 편의점, 식당 등을 대상으로 위해요인 안전점검과 청소년보호법 상 의무·준수사항 이행 여부를 점검해 나가기로 했다고 전했다.

특히 청소년 유해업소의 청소년 출입·고용금지 위반 행위, 19세 미만 주류․담배 판매금지 표시 의무화와 신분증 확인 생활화, 노래방과 PC방 등 청소년의 출입이 잦은 업소 등에 대해 집중 점검할 계획이라고 했다.

이순애 교육가족과장은 “이번 학교주변 유해환경 점검을 통해 청소년들에게 안전한 사회 환경 조성을 위해 노력하겠다”며 “앞으로도 청소년 보호의식에 대한 공감대 확산으로 민간 부문에서도 연쇄적 동참이 이루어질 수 있도록 적극 지원해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
