[김택곤 기자=영월군] 영월군은 오는 20일부터 다음달 3일까지 해빙기를 맞아 관내 건설현장 8개소를 대상으로 시공실태 등 안전점검을 실시한다고 밝혔다.

이는 겨울철 얼었던 토사가 녹으면서 지반이 약화 되는 해빙기에 공사현장에서 발생할 수 있는 사면붕괴, 지반침하 등 각종 위험 상황에 대한 안전사고 및 부실시공을 예방하기 위한 것으로, 관내 추진되는 주요사업장 8개소에 대해서는 집중점검을 추진하고, 그 외 건설현장에 대해서는 안전점검표를 배부 하여 자체적으로 안전점검을 추진할 예정이다.

군은 향후 안전점검에서 지적된 사항 중에서 곧바로 시정할 수 있는 것은 즉시 개선하도록 하고, 추가 작업이 필요한 것은 보수·보강 등 조치를 취할 예정이다.
