[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 내년 1월 20일까지 포천시는 고품질 쌀 생산을 촉진하기 위해 2022년 벼 못자리용 상토 지원사업을 신청받는다고 밝혔다.

벼 못자리용 상토 지원사업은 전문 제조된 상토를 사용해 토양오염과 병충해 예방 및 건전한 육묘생산을 통해 품질 좋은 쌀을 생산하며 농가소득 향상을 돕고자 추진되는 사업이고, 지원 대상은 포천시민 중 관내 수도작 재배 농업경영체 및 경영체 등록 농지이며, 지원기준은 ha당 중량 20ℓ 64포, 경량 40ℓ 32포이고, 특히 2022년부터는 친환경 상토까지 지원을 확대해 친환경 인증 면적을 확대하고자 했다고 전했다.

신청은 농지소재지 읍면동 환경산업팀을 통해서 할 수 있으며, 자세한 사항은 포천시 친환경농업과 특화농업팀 및 농지소재지 읍면동 행정복지센터 환경산업팀으로 문의하면 된다고 했다.

한편 포천시는 지난 12월 15일 벼 못자리용 상토 지원사업의 원활한 추진을 위해 지역농협 실무자, 행정기관 등으로 구성된 선정협의회를 개최했고, 이날 협의회에서는 지원사업 추진 개선방안과 상토 선호도 조사결과를 반영해 각 지역농협별 품목을 선정했다고 전했다.

포천시 관계자는 “영농 일정에 맞춰 못자리용 상토 공급이 원활히 이루어질 수 있도록 많은 관심을 가지고 신청기간 내 신청해주시길 바란다.”라고 말했다.
