[김택곤 기자 = 영월군] 지역아동센터 영월지역협의회가 지난 27일 관내 지역아동종사자들을 대상으로 역량강화 교육을 실시했다. 

이날 실시한 교육에서는 아동 권익 실현을 위해 기여한 우수종사자에 대한 표창장 수여와 대한심폐소생술교육원의 ‘어린이 안전 의무교육’도 실시했다. 

이밖에도 자체 연수 등을 통한 종사자들의 전문성 함양 및 지역아동센터의 발전방안 논의 등 역량 강화의 시간을 가졌다. 

현재 영월군 내 지역아동센터는 총 12개소가 운영중이며, 방과 후 돌봄이 필요한 지역사회 아동의 건전 육성을 위하여 종합적인 복지서비스 제공을 목적으로 운영되고 있다.
