아프리카돼지열병(ASF)과 코로나19 여파로 2년 연속 대회가 취소되었으나, 축산업 종사자들의 사기 진작을 위해 이번 대회는 비대면 방식으로 열렸으며, 나이-개월령에 따라 한우 5개 부문, 젖소 7개 부문으로 나눠 최우수, 우수, 장려를 선발, 총 36개 농가가 입상했다고 전했다.

특히 이날 시상식에서는 양주시에서 출전한 백석읍 진일농장 강순묵 농가와 원주목장 은현면 고상헌 농가가 각각 한우번식 2부, 젖소 3부에서 최우수상을 차지하며 지역 축산농가의 기술 경쟁력을 입증했다고 했다.
