[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 28일 저녁 7시 횡성군도시재생지원센터는 밤고개마을에서 도시재생 청년참여단 간담회를 진행한다고 밝혔다.

지난 2021년 처음 결성된 횡성군 도시재생 청년참여단은 지난 6월 8명의 신규 단원을 모집했으며 새롭게 모인 청년참여단은 횡성군의 혁신적 성장을 위한 지역 인재들로써 도시재생 주민공모사업과 연계하는 등 군 내에서 정착하기 위한 적극적인 실험을 펼칠 계획이라고 전했다.

이번 간담회에서는 신규 단원과 기존 청년참여단의 상견례가 준비되어 있으며 상견례 후에는 횡성군민으로서 단원들이 경험한 횡성군 내 정착을 방해하는 요인과 그것을 극복하기 위한 방안에 대해 논의할 예정이라고 했다. 

조관식 도시교통과장은 “이번 간담회를 통해 청년들 입장에서 다양한 의견이 나올 수 있기를 기대한다. 또한, 도시재생사업에서 청년을 위한 다양한 지원방안을 강구해 나가겠다.”고 말했다.
