[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 20일 의정부시 신곡1동 복지지원과는 샘솟는공동체, 돈까스클럽 용현점 등 2개소와 인적·물적 복지 자원 공유를 내용으로 하는 복지자원 나눔 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 협약을 통해 샘솟는공동체는 스스로 끼니를 챙기기 어려운 저소득 독거어르신 및 결식 취약계층에게 제철 식재료로 만든 건강한 반찬 및 생필품 지원을 약속했고, 돈까스클럽은 저소득 취약가구의 외식문화를 장려하여 가족 간 정서 교감을 지원하고, 기타 상호 간에 필요하다고 인정하는 복지사업에 적극 협력하기로 약속하며 나눔 문화 확산에 기여할 예정이라고 했다.

2017년 권역형 복지허브화의 전면 시행과 함께 추진된 신곡1동 복지자원 업무 협약 사업으로 인해 현재까지 총 31개소의 개인 및 기관과 인적·물적 자원 후원을 내용으로 업무협약을 체결했고, 신곡1동의 취약 계층에게 다양한 복지 서비스를 연계했다고 전했다.

조원상 복지지원과장은 “이번 협약을 계기로 어려운 이웃들에게 더 많은 도움을 줄 수 있을 것 같아 매우 기쁘다”라며 “좋은 나눔을 약속해 주신 후원처에 감사드리며, 지역 내에서 이웃을 돌보는 분위기가 확산될 수 있도록 더욱 노력하겠다”고 뜻을 밝혔다.
