이날 선포식은 코로나19로 인해 대면·비대면 병행 방식으로 신곡1동 지역사회보장협의체와 자원봉사자 모임인 신곡1동 희망넝쿨단 등 마을 주민 40여 명이 참석한 가운데 지난 4월부터 시작된 마을복지계획의 수립 과정을 되돌아보고, 분과별 사업계획 발표에 이어 최종 선정된 의제의 성공적인 실행을 위한 결의를 다짐하는 마을복지계획 선포문을 낭독하는 순으로 진행됐다고 했다.

신곡1동 마을복지추진단은 8월부터 2회의 역량강화 교육과 5회의 분과 회의를 거쳐 ‘건강한 마음 건강한 삶, 신곡1동 행복 힐링 공방’과 ‘밝고 안전한 집, 신곡1동 소소(小炤)한 홈케어’를 최종 실천 의제로 선정하였고, 2022년부터 본격적으로 마을복지계획을 실행하게 된다고 했다.

조성훈 단장은 “2022년을 마을복지계획 실행의 원년으로 삼아, 계획된 사업들이 성공적으로 실행될 수 있도록 마을 주민들과 함께 힘을 모아 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
