[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시는 지난 9월 19일 고향사랑TF팀을 설치하여 관련 조직을 정비하였으며, 내년 고향사랑기부금법 시행에 앞서 ‘삼척시 고향사랑 기부금 모금 및 운용에 관한 조례안’ 입법 예고에 나섰다,

고향사랑 기부제는 개인이 현재 주소지를 제외하고 자신의 고향이나 원하는 지방자치단체에 일정액을 기부하면 세액공제 혜택과 답례품을 받는 제도로, 기부금으로 조성한 고향사랑기금은 취약계층 지원 및 주민복리증진 사업 등에 사용된다.

기부자는 연간 500만 원 한도에서 기부할 수 있으며 10만 원 이하는 전액 세액공제, 10만 원 초과 시 16.5%의 세액공제를 받고, 해당 지역 특산품 등을 기부금액의 30% 내에서 답례품으로 제공받을 수 있다. 

또한, 고향사랑 기부제 홍보활동도 적극적으로 펼칠 계획으로 시 홈페이지 및 SNS 등 온.오프라인 홍보를 병행하고 향후 전국을 대상으로 내고향 삼척을 알릴 수 있는 다양한 방안도 모색할 계획이다.

삼척시 관계자는 “고향사랑 기부제를 적극 알려 고향에 대한 건전한 기부문화를 조성하고, 본 제도가 성공적으로 안착하여 지역경제를 살리고 삼척도 살리는 촉매제가 되기를 기대한다.”고 밝혔다.
