[김현우 기자 = 경기북부]  서태원 가평군수가 고향사랑기부제의 성공적인 안착과 기부문화 확산을 위해 고향사랑기부 인증 챌린지에 동참했다. 

김진태 강원도지사의 지명을 받아 챌린지에 동참한 서 군수는 포천 및 양평에 기부함과 동시에 다음 주자로 포천시장과 양평군수를 지명했다.

고향사랑기부 인증 챌린지는 지명된 기부 인증자가 기부 인증사진을 게시하고 다음 기부자를 추천하는 릴레이 행사로 국회의원 20여명을 비롯해 자치단체장, 유명인 등이 참여하고 있다.

서 군수는 “기부문화 확산에 기여하는 고향사랑기부 인증 챌린지에 동참하게 되어 기쁘다”며 “포천시와 양평군은 우리의 이웃사촌이나 다름없는 가까운 도시인만큼 고향사랑 기부를 계기로 서로 상생발전하고 지속적으로 교류가 이어지길 바란다.”고 말했다.

고향사랑기부제는 지역의 재정확충과 경제 활성화를 위해 시행중인 제도로 10만원 이하는 전액, 초과분은 16.5% 세액공제 혜택과 기부액 일부를 답례품으로 받을 수 있으며, 1인당 연간 500만원까지 기부할 수 있다. 

군은 고향사랑기부제의 활성화를 위해 잣, 포드즙, 전통주, 지역 특산주, 휴양숙박시설 이용원 등의 답례품을 제공하고 있으며, 더 다채로운 답례품 제공을 위해 공급업체를 연중 상시 모집하고 있다.

한편 군은 올해 목표액 1억원인 고향사랑기부금의 성공적 안착을 위한 홍보․모금활동 강화를 추진하는 가운데, 지난달 22일 현재 131건에 1700여만 원이 모금됐다고 전했다.
