[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 4월 4일, 의정부시 송산3동은 '안전점검의 날'을 맞아 안전한 도로 환경 조성 및 안전사고 예방을 위한 '다시 찾고 싶은 거리의 날' 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

이번 캠페인은 송산3동 공무원, 무단투기 감시원 및 한국전기안전공사 경기북부지역 본부, 의정부시니어클럽 관계자 등 20여 명이 참여한 가운데 유동인구 밀집지역인 민락동 로데오거리 상업지구 일원에서 진행됐다고 했다.

생활 속 안전을 위협하는 각종 불법 행위 예방을 위해 불법 유동 광고물(입간판, 현수막 등), 쓰레기 무단투기 및 불법 소각 근절에 대한 홍보를 중심으로 리플릿 배부, 피켓 홍보, 가두 행진 등의 활동을 전개했고, 또한, 불법 주·정차 주민신고제 활성화를 위해 안전신문고를 통한 신고 방법에 대해 안내하고 보다 쉽게 신고할 수 있도록 주민들의 자발적 참여를 유도했다고 전했다.

이부근 송산3동 허가안전과장은 “앞으로도 안전에 대한 시민의식 고취를 위한 지속적인 홍보활동을 적극 실시해, 송산권역을 깨끗하고 안전한 다시 찾고 싶은 거리로 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
