[김일웅 기자=경기북부] 의정부시 송산3동행정복지센터 이영재 권역국장은  더욱 빠르고 정확한 복지서비스 제공을 위해, 3월 3일부터 복지조사관리 업무 담당자로 스터디그룹을 구성해 본격적인 활동을 시작했다.

 이번에 실시한 첫 번째 스터디그룹 활동은 송산3동 복지지원과 신규 업무담당자와 실무경험이 풍부한 팀장 등 5명이 참여했다. 업무시간 종료 후 2시간 동안 업무지침 연찬과 사례 위주의 질의응답 등으로 열띤 분위기 속에서 진행됐다.

 송산3동 복지지원과는 매주 1회 스터디활동을 지속 실시할 계획이다. 코로나19로 인한 경기 악화로 늘어난 복지수요에 적극 대응할 수 있도록 실무능력을 배양해 복지급여 신청 건에 대한 신속·정확한 소득·재산 조사와 생활실태 파악하고 이를 통해 적정한 수급자격 유지를 하고 빈틈없이 급여를 지급할 계획이다.

 송산권역은 2020년 한 해 동안 5천100여 건의 사회보장급여 신규 신청에 대한 통합조사와 2천000여 건의 기존 대상자에 대한 확인조사를 실시한 바 있다.

 송산3동 복지지원과는 정확하고 신속한 조사관리 업무 처리로 복잡하고 다양해진 송산권역 복지수요에 능동적으로 대처해 시민만족도와 행정신뢰도가 높아질 것으로 기대하고 있다.
