이용 방법은 인터넷 주소창에 주소를 입력해 접속하거나 홍천군청 홈페이지 ‘분야별정보’에서 ‘환경’, ‘대형폐기물 배출요령’을 통해 접속할 수 있으며, 접속 후에는 배출 장소(종량제 봉투 배출지)와 배출 예정일 등의 기본적인 사항을 입력하고 결제를 마친 뒤 신고증을 출력해 대형폐기물에 붙여 배출하면 된다고 했다.

신고증 출력이 어려울 경우는 신고필증 번호, 배출 품목, 금액 등을 기재해서 대형폐기물에 부착해 배출하면 된다고 전했다. 

장영옥 환경과장은 “주민들이 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 대형폐기물의 배출 신고를 할 수 있어 대형폐기물 처리가 보다 편리해질 것으로 기대된다”며 “많은 관심과 이용을 부탁드린다”고 말했다.
