[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 오는 3월 말, 4월이면 군청 민원실, 당직실, 읍면으로 개화여부를 문의하는 전화가 끊이지 않았고, 가평군은 가평 주요 벚꽃 명소의 개화 현황을 매일 블로그에 업데이트하겠다고 밝혔다.

가평군은 경기도내에서 벚꽃 개화시기가 가장 늦은 지역이며, 매년 벚꽃 개화시기를 놓친 많은 수도권 시민들이 벚꽃나들이를 오고, 절정기 벚꽃을 보려면 개화정도를 확인 하는 것이 가장 중요하다고 전했다. 

가평군은 블로그를 통해 가평을 찾는 관광객들에게 가평의 다양한 장소·먹거리를 소개하고, 정보를 전달하여 방문자수가 월 평균 8만 명 정도로 작년에는 관련 포털에서 인플루언서 지정을 받기도 하였다고 했다. 

군정영상을 송출하던 영상채널에도 변화를 주었고, 가평의 갖가지 군정소식을 영상으로 제작하여 송출하고 있었지만 뉴스형식이 주는 딱딱한 이미지는 구독자의 관심을 끌기에 한계가 있었며, 가평의 소식을 보다 흥미롭게 전달하기 위해 3분에서 5분 사이의 재미있는 영상을 자체 제작하여 송출하며 관심을 끌고 있다고 밝혔다.

지난 2021년 문화체육과의 가평 한달살기에 참여한 후 가평으로 이주를 결심한 청년 아티스트가 가평의 다양한 사람들을 직접 인터뷰하는 ‘어쩌다 인터뷰’ 코너와 가평의 아기 탄생을 축하하는 ‘탄생을 축하해’ 코너가 올해부터 새롭게 선보이고 있다고 했다.

가평군 관계자는 “가평군이 소통을 위해 큰 예산을 들여 검증되지 않은 사업을 하려는 것이 아니라 기존 방식을 보다 섬세한 감성으로 소통하고자 한다” 면서 “앞으로 가평군의 변화를 눈여겨 봐주시기 바란다”고 전했다.
