[김일웅 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 17일 GH는 국토교통부, 한국부동산원이 주관하는 제1회 ‘빈집 활용 아이디어 공모전’ 에서 대상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

빈집활용 아이디어 공모전은 방치된 빈집을 도시에 활력을 불어넣는 자산으로 활용하고, 빈집 문제에 대한 국민적 관심을 고취하기 위해 개최됐으며, 시상식은 17일 청주시에서 개최된 도시재생 한마당 행사에서 진행됐다고 했다. 

GH는 국내 최초로 시·군에서 제안 공모를 받아 맞춤형 빈집 정비사업을 추진하고, 이를 통해 지역 수요에 부합한 운영 프로그램, 콘텐츠를 도입한 공로를 인정받아 대상을 수상했다고 전했다.

또한, 동두천시등 지자체와의 빈집활용 거버넌스 구축을 통해 ESG경영(G)을 실현했다고 전했다.

GH는 내년 1월 중 현상설계 공모를 거쳐 창의적인 아동돌봄센터 설계안을 마련하고, 동두천시와 실시협약을 체결하여 최소 30년 이상 운영·관리함으로써 사업의 지속가능성을 확보할 예정이라고 전했다.

안태준 GH 부사장(사장 직무대행)은 “도민의 주거복지 향상을 위해 시·군에서 주도적으로 사업시행을 할 수 있도록 빈집 정비사업 신모델을 적극 지원하겠다 ”고 밝혔다.
