[김준호 기자 = 삼척시] 삼척시(박상수 시장)는 민선 8기 역점사업인 수소 특화산업단지 지정계획안을 지난 12월 국토교통부 산업입지정책심의회에서 승인받고, 1월 6일 강원도 산업단지 지정계획으로 고시한다고 밝혔다.

지방소멸대응 기금 150억 원으로 조성되는 수소특화산업단지는 정부의 주요정책인 액화수소산업 육성을 위하여 조성하는 산업단지로 지정계획 면적 139,954㎡(산업시설용지 면적 76,815㎡) 규모로 근덕면 동막리 812번지 일원에 들어선다.

주요업종은 수소관련 기업으로 수소산업의 가치사슬 상에 존재하는 수소 생산, 충전, 저장운송, 모빌리티 등과 관련된 부품소재 업종으로 입주의향 업체 조사를 통한 수요를 반영했다.

한편, 수소특화산업단지 조성을 위해 시는 용지매수 등 토지와 지장물 보상과 공사 시행 및 준공 등의 업무를 지난해 연말 강원도개발공사와 위·수탁협약을 체결했다. 

시는, 개발 실시계획 용역 및 관계기관과의 협의를 거쳐 올해 상반기 중으로 산업단지 실시계획 승인을 신청하고 하반기에는 본격적으로 착공할 계획이다.

시 관계자는 “강원도개발공사와의 위탁업무 협약을 통해 효율적이고 안정적인 산업단지 개발 사업을 추진해 2025년 상반기 중으로 산업단지 준공을 목표로 하고 있다."고  말했다.
