[김현우 기자 = 가평군] 배영환 가평소방서장은 지난 20일 개최된 제34회 119소방정책 콘퍼런스 논문 발표대회에서 대상을 수상했다.

119소방정책 콘퍼런스는 4차 산업 시대에 실효성 있는 재난 대응 정책을 개발하고 미래 재난환경 변화에 선제적으로 대응하기 위한 대회다.

올해 본선에 참가하는 대상은 8개 시도 연구팀 경기(가평소방서), 충남, 부산, 경북, 광주, 대구, 서울, 세종이다.

가평소방서에서는 최근 전기차 화재가 빈번하게 발생하기에 전기자동차 충전구역 안전성 확보를 위한 화재위험성 평가와 안전대책에 관한 주제로 발표했다.

배영환 가평소방서장은 “이번 발표를 준비하면서 요즘 이슈인 전기차 화재에 대하여 더 깊게 연구를 할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 되었다.”고 전하며 “전기차뿐만 아니라 다방면에 지속적인 연구를 통해 각종 위험으로부터 국민들의 생명과 재산을 지킬 수 있도록 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
