[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일 신영재 홍천군수는 홍천군 관광정책 자문위원회를 개최하고 '홍천군 관광종합 개발계획'에 대해 자문위원들과의논의를 통해 다양한 의견을 교환·수렴했다고 밝혔다.

신 군수는 이날 위원회를 통해 관광종합 개발계획의 단·중·장기적 목표 및 방향을 설정하는 기본구상안·이행계획안과 서울~양양고속도로 등 광역교통망을 통한 접근성 개선에 대해 논의했다.

한편, 홍천군은 최근 급변하는 관광 환경 변화에 대한 선제적 대응을 위해 '홍천군 관광종합 개발계획' 수립중에 있다. 

신영재 홍천군수는 “이번 관광정책 자문위원회에서 나온 의견을 홍천군 관광종합 개발계획 수립용역에 반영하여 누구나 즐기는 여행환경 홍천, 더 오래 자주 가는 여행으로의 홍천 지역이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
