[서종협 기자 = 태백시] 이상호 태백시장은 지난 10일 삼수동을 시작으로 22일 장성동까지 8일간 진행되었던 동 순방을 마무리했다고 밝혔다. 

특히 도로확장‧포장, 하천 정비, 인도와 배수로, 옹벽 정비 등 간담회에서 접수된 건의사항에 대하여 직접 관계자들과 현장을 확인하고 해결방안을 모색하며 소통행정을 추진했다.

이상호 태백시장은 “주민 건의사항은 관계 부서에서 신속한 현업을 통해 처리하고, 중장기 접근이 필요한 사안에 대해서는 면밀히 검토 후 시정에 접목시켜 해결해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.

또한 “이번 주민과의 대화는 주민들의 적극적인 참여와 의견 제시 등 생생한 주민여론을 시정에 적극 반영할 수 있는 기회가 됐다”라며, “건의사항들이 조기에 해결될 수 있도록 노력하는 한편, 추진상황을 주민에게 공유해, 시가 주민들과 소통하고 있음을 알리고 시민 우선의 행복 도시 태백이 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
