[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 10일 서흥원 양구군수는 현안 사업을 위한 예산 지원을 건의하기 위해 행정안전부 방문 예정이었으나, 최고 127.5mm의 폭우로 일정을 연기하고 호우 피해지역을 점검했다고 밝혔다.

양구군은 지난 8일부터 10일까지 양구지역 평균 115mm 폭우로 총 하천, 도로 등 공공시설 22건과 주택, 농경지 등 사유재산 4건 등 총 26건의 피해가 접수됐으며 가설도로가 유실되고, 주택·도로 침수와 낙석 등의 피해가 발생했다. 

서흥원 양구군수는 피해 현장을 방문해 현장 상황을 실시간으로 점검하고, 접수되지 않은 피해 현장 외에도 꼼꼼히 점검하여 주민 피해가 없도록 신속 조치할 것을 당부했으며 위험지역 통제와 예찰 활동 등을 통해 인명 피해가 발생하지 않도록 안전관리를 강화하고 도로 낙석 제거 및 가설도로 등 피해복구에 총력을 다할 것을 지시했다.

서흥원 양구군수는 “8~10일 동안 폭우로 26건의 적지 않은 피해가 발생하였다. 신속한 피해복구와 함께 더 이상의 피해가 발생하지 않도록 철저히 대비 하겠다.”고 말했다. 

한편, 군(郡)은 지난 8일 호우주의보 발령에 따라 산사태 우려 지역 및 하천 등에 대한 예찰 활동과 더불어 풍수해 위기 경보를 관심에서 주의 단계로 격상시키고 비상 근무에 돌입하여 비상 상황에 대비하고 있다.
