[장선희기자 = 경기북부/강원] 의정부시 보건소는 임산부와 영유아의 영양개선을 위한 '영양플러스 사업'을 활발하게 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.

코로나19 확산 이후, 식생활 개선 영양교육을 비대면 교육방식으로 전환하여 ‘온라인 화상교육(ZOOM)’진행, 구글폼을 이용한 ‘영양교육 퀴즈’ 등 다양한 비대면 영양교육KIT 개발로 코로나19 상황에서도 사업 참여자들이 균형 잡힌 식생활을 할 수 있도록 독려하고 있다고 했다.

지난 2021년 4월부터 현재까지 ‘영양플러스 네이버 카페’를 개설하여 ‘비대면 조리실습’과 ‘이벤트 과제’등을 진행했다.

특히 영양플러스 네이버 카페를 통해 ‘각 가정에 제공되는 보충 식품을 활용한 조리법’, ‘우리 집 냉장고 속 5가지 식품군 찾기’ 등 활동사진을 제출하는 방식의 교육은 사업 참여자들로 하여금 “코로나19로 인해 집에 있는 시간이 많은데, 온 가족이 함께 참여하며 즐거운 시간을 보낼 수 있었다”라는 호응이 많았다. 

이러한 커뮤니티 활용은 비대면으로 참여자들끼리 편식을 예방할 수 있는 다양한 조리법 등을 공유할 수 있어 식습관 개선 실천에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있었다고 했다.

매달 화상교육(ZOOM)을 병행하여 영양교육을 진행하고 있으며, 비대면 화상교육의 단점을 해소하고자 매 수업 때마다 구글폼을 활용하여 ‘소통 창구’를 마련하였다고 했다. 

소통창구를 통해 영양교육 만족도는 증가하였으며, 교육 참여율은 90% 이상을 유지하고 있다고 전했다.

장연국 보건소장은 “의정부시는 이러한 비대면 영양교육KIT를 개발하고 활용하여 코로나19와 같은 어려운 상황에서도 임산부와 영유아에게 다양한 영양관리 서비스를 제공할 계획”이라고 말했다.
