금번 계획으로 추가되는 마을은 간성읍 3개마을 '어천1리, 진부리, 흘3리' 거진읍 3개마을 '오정리, 초계리, 석문리', 현내면 5개마을 '산학리, 화곡리, 마달리, 명파리, 배봉리', 토성면 2개마을 '운봉리, 인흥2리'로 4개 읍면 13개 마을이 추가 운행되며, 희망택시 요금은 시내버스 요금인 1인당 1,400원이고, 이용대상은 만70세 이상 고령자, 미취학1～7세가구, 임산부, 통학이 불편한 고등학생이 대상이라고 전했다.

희망택시 탑승을 희망하는 해당 마을주민은 고성관내 운영되는 택시에 콜 신청한 후 관내 읍면행정복지센터 인근까지 승차하여 생활권으로 이동할 수 있다고 했다.
