[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 13일 태백시는 태백시 도시재생지원센터에서 2022년 ECO JOB CITY 태백 도시재생 주민공모사업 협약식을 개최했다고 전했다.

도시재생에 대한 주민들의 역량을 강화하고 지역공동체를 활성화 하기 위해 추진한 이번 공모사업에는 무지개 담벼락, 가가호호 문패 만들기, 골목길 담벼락 정비, 코로나를 구문소에서 태우리, 에코벤져스 친환경재생 프로젝트, 빛고을 화신촌, 언제나 걷고 싶은 철암단풍길 만들기 7개팀이 최종 선정됐다고 했다.

시는 선정된 7개팀을 대상으로 협약식을 개최했으며, 협약식 이후 보조사업 대상자들의 보조금 집행 기준 및 사업추진실적보고서 등 회계 교육을 실시했다고 했고, 선정된 공모사업에 대해서는 각각 보조금이 지원되며, 오는 10월까지 태백시 전역에서 사업이 진행된다고 전했다.

태백시 관계자는 “ECO JOB CITY 태백 현장지원센터와 협업하여 지속적인 현장점검과 멘토링을 통해 주민 스스로 지역문제를 발굴해 역량을 강화시키고, 신규 공모팀을 포함, 경험팀을 더욱 성장시켜 도시재생사업 종료 후에도 지속적인 마을 발전을 도모할 수 있는 기반을 조성하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
