[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 3월 28일 오후 3시, 횡성군은 횡성군청 3층 대회의실에서 '안전1번지 횡성! 살기 좋은 횡성!' 추진을 위한 협약 및 선포식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

선포식에는 장신상 군수를 비롯한 권순근 횡성군의회의장, 횡성교육장, 횡성경찰서장, 소방서장 등 관내·외 기관단체 대표 13명이 참석하며, 정책보고와 협약서 서약, 선포문 낭독 등으로 진행됐다고 했다. 

군은 이번 협약 및 선포식 개최를 통해 지역사회 안전을 위한 유관기관과의 지역사회 안전 네트워크 구축으로 군민 안전 증진 및 안전문화 확산 사업을 추진하여 누구나 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 안전도시 구축의 초석을 다져 안전도시 인프라를 구축할 계획이라고 전했다.

장명희 재난안전과장은 “각 기관과의 유기적인 안전체계 구축을 통해 각종 안전사고 및 재난대응체계가 크게 향상될 것으로 기대된다. 앞으로도 군민이 안심할 수 있는 안전1번지 횡성을 만들 수 있도록 더욱 내실을 기하겠다.”고 말했다.
