[남상훈 기자 = 경기북부/강원]  홍천군도시재생지원센터가 지난 19일 (주)오롯컴퍼니와 도시재생 상호협력 업무 협약식을 진행했다. 

협약은 홍천군도시재생지원센터 사무실에서 이뤄졌으며, 도시재생을 위한 정보교류와 기술협력 및 자문, 지역인재 양성과 일자리 창출을 위한 다양한 유형의 취·창업 지원 등을 진행라 예정이다. 

오롯컴퍼니는 서울시 소재 사회적기업으로 현재 일반적인 인테리어 시공부터 노후 주택 집수리, 시공자 양성, 빈집·곰팡이 연구 등을 수행하고 있다. 

환경과 도시재생을 연계 2019년 국토교통부 국토교통형 예비사회적기업에 선정되어 본격적인 활동을 시작하였으며 2020년 국토부 선정 도시재생 우수사례 11위 내에 선정 및 서울시 혁신기업에 선정됐었다. 

현재 업사이클링 등 지속가능한 환경과 목공(건축)을 결합한 사회공헌 사업들을 펼쳐나가고 있는 오롯컴퍼니는 홍천군 도시재생 활성화를 위한 인적자원 양성 및 사회벤처 분야 확대에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.   

최소영 홍천군도시재생지원센터장은“전문적인 사회적기업과의 협업을 통해 홍천군 내 다양한 인적자원 네트워크를 구축함으로써 홍천군 도시재생 관련 일자리의 다양성을 넓혀 나갈 수 있길 기대한다”며 협약 소감을 밝혔다. 

상호 업무협약 이후 첫 시작으로, ㈜오롯컴퍼니는 신장대리 일원 도시재생 뉴딜사업과 연계하여 신장대리 일원 마을학교 1기(DIT 리빌딩 신장대리) 과정을 통해 주민(및 청년)을 대상으로 목공기술을 교육할 예정이다. 

교육은 6월 3일부터 25일까지 매주 금, 토요일 총 8회에 거쳐 진행된다.
