[장선희기자 = 경기북부/강원] 동두천시는 지난 19일, '양성평등 조직문화 만들기' 협약식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

시는 공무원노동조합과 양성평등한 조직문화 조성을 위한 5대 실천과제를 만들어 직원들이 보다 건강하고 행복한 직장생활을 할 수 있는 평등한 조직문화 만들기에 서로 노력하기로 하고 서약을 했다. 

이날 협약식에서 서약한 5대 실천과제로는 ▲성별에 상관없이 동료로 바라보고, 함께하는 동료로 서로 존중합니다 ▲상대방의 외모에 대해 평가하지 않으며, 서로 배려하는 언어를 사용하겠습니다 ▲남자라서, 여자라서 더 잘하는 일은 없습니다. 각자의 능력을 봐주십시오 ▲모두가 즐겁고 건강한 슬기로운 회식문화를 조성합니다 ▲정시 퇴근을 위해 열심히 일하고, 퇴근 이후에는 개인시간을 존중해주세요 등의 내용이 포함됐다고 했다. 

문진호 동두천시 공무원노동조합 위원장은 “양성평등은 존중과 배려가 있는 조직을 위해서도 꼭 필요하다”라면서 “인식의 전환이 개인행동은 물론 조직문화를 바꾸는 출발점이 될 것이고, 우리 공직사회가 먼저 나서서 모범이 되어야 한다. 동두천시청을 시작으로 회사와 가정, 지역사회에 이르기까지 평등한 조직문화가 확산되기를 기대한다”라고 전했다.
