[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 11월 1일, ㈜우리술 박성기 대표는 ‘가평생잣막걸리’ 판매 수익 7,566,000원을 장학금으로 기탁하였다고 밝혔다. 

이는 지난 2021년 4월 1일부터 9월 30일까지 ‘가평생잣막걸리’ 판매량 252,225병에 대한 적립금이며, 가평군과 우리술은 2017년 2월 처음 협약을 시작한 후 연이어 지난 9월 30일 6번째 장학기금 기탁 협약을 맺었고, 올해까지 기탁한 적립금은 총 60,113,720원에 달한다고 했다. 

이 협약은 매년 연장되었으며, 지난 2019년 10월 재협약을 통해 병당 적립금을 20원에서 30원으로 늘렸다고 전했다.

김성기 가평군수는 “가평군의 우수한 지역 인재 양성을 위해 항상 도움을 아끼지 않는 박성기 대표에게 감사의 뜻을 전한다.”고 말했다.

가평군은 2024년까지 지역인재 양성을 위한 장학금 300억 원 조성을 목표로 하는 가운데 현재까지 77.7%인 233억 원을 조성했으며, 조성된 장학기금으로 지난 2009년부터 현재까지 총 1,576명에게 21억 원의 장학금을 지원하였다고 했다.
