[안종욱 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 9월 30일, 가평군과 ㈜우리술이 장학기금 기탁 협약을 맺었다고 밝혔다.

지난 2017년 2월 처음 시작한 후 연이어 6번째 협약이며, 그동안 기탁한 장학금은 총 5254만7720원에 달하며, 협약에 따라 ㈜우리술은 관내 ‘가평생잣막걸리’ 판매량 병당 30원을 적립해 반기별로 가평군 장학기금으로 기탁하게 된다고 했다.

이 협약은 매년 연장됐으며, 지난 2019년 10월 재협약을 통해 병당 적립금을 30원으로 늘렸고, 이번 협약은 코로나19 확산 방지를 위해 서면으로 진행되었으며 기간은 내년 9월 말까지이라고 했다.

김성기 군수는 “이번 재협약으로 우리술과 지속적인 상호협력체계를 유지할 수 있게 됐다.”며 “앞으로도 우수한 지역 인재 양성을 위해 장학사업 추진에 만전을 기하겠다.”고 말했다.

가평군은 2024년까지 지역인재 양성을 위한 장학금 300억 원 조성을 목표로 하는 가운데 현재까지 77%인 232억 원을 조성했으며, 조성된 장학기금으로 지난 2009년부터 현재까지 총 1,576명에게 21억 원의 장학금을 지원하였고 했다.
