[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 5일부터 동두천미술협회 청년분과에서는 자유수호평화박물관 4층 기획전시실에 청년·신진작가 미술 전시회를 열고 있다고 밝혔다. 

이번 전시전에는 서양화, 동양화, 공예 등 다양한 미술 작품들을 전시하고 있으며, 오는 12월 31일까지 계속된다고 했다.

동두천미술협회는 지난 6월에 청소년 미술대전을, 10월에는 미술작가 정기회원전을 개최한 바 있으며, 김민호 지부장은 “앞으로도 다양한 전시회를 기획해 지역의 젊은 인재를 육성하고 지역 미술발전을 위해 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
