동두천시는 앞으로 박물관을 찾는 관람객에게 다양한 체험의 기회를 넓히기 위해 오는 12월까지 탱크, 헬리곱터 등 대형군장비, VR콘텐츠 체험존 등 신기술이 적용된 콘텐츠를 이용해 실감적으로 체험할 수 있도록 전시물을 설치할 예정이라고 전했다.
