[장선희 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12일 동양대학교 '늘사랑회'에서는 동두천시청을 방문해 기부금 100만원을 전달하였다고 밝혔다.

'늘사랑회'는 동양대학교 교내 교직원 봉사단체이며, 결성 이후 꾸준한 봉사활동 및 기부로 나눔 문화 확산에 기여하고 있다. 이번 기부는 회원 32명이 한뜻을 모아 진행됐다고 했다.

이재기 회장은 “날씨가 추워지는 요즘, 나눔의 손길이 필요한 분들이 따뜻한 연말을 보내는데 조금이나마 도움이 되면 좋겠다”고 밝혔다.

최용덕 시장은 “모두가 어려운 시기임에도 도움을 주셔서 감사하다. 기부성금은 필요한 곳에 소중히 사용하도록 하겠다”고 전했다.
