[김일중 기자 = 경기북부/강원] 지난 12월 28일 동두천시는 자유수호평화박물관에 실감콘텐츠 체험존을 설치했다고 밝혔다.

박물관을 찾는 관람객을 위해 1층에 탱크 및 헬기를 체험할 수 있는 ‘실감콘텐츠 체험존’을 설치하고, 기존 전시실에는 새롭게 AI 신기술이 적용된 콘텐츠를 AR을 이용해 실감적으로 체험할 수 있도록 ‘AR 전시 체험실’을 설치했다고 했다.

2층 전시실에는 전쟁 관련 ‘미디어 아트월’을 설치했으며, 박물관을 찾는 관람객은 누구나 체험존과 체험실을 편하게 이용할 수 있다고 했다. 

박물관 관계자는 “박물관을 방문해서 단순히 전시물을 둘러보고만 가는 것이 아니라 이제는 체험을 통한 ‘실감형 전시’를 즐길 수 있는 시대가 도래했다”며 “자유수호평화박물관에 실감콘텐츠 체험존과 체험실을 설치함으로써 관람객들이 편하게 즐기고 체험할 수 있게 됐다”고 밝혔다.
